Extensively landscaped with trees the house is designed with a pivoted metal screen for shading and privacy on the south west and north west facades. The entrance is through a human scale arcaded landscaped courtyard. The house is divided into two parts - one the private bedrooms and living/dining areas & the brick vaulted drawing room which opens up into green areas on all sides.
